another problem here

we have working group component on our site (hydra project manager) , it's working great, except 1 thing: half of isn't showing in ie6.

we have 2 divs of content take area under menu bar; 1 floated left, floated right. left side reserved a user menu, while right text content. we've done here we've defined left side empty in part of site. furthermore, working group component on right side has been defined shift 200 pixels (margin-left: 200px;) left overlap left side.
this happens in ie6, troublesome. if other browser (except perhaps firefox), might able disregard whole problem (ie7 works fine). realize might have less joomla , component in question, , more how ie6 handles divs. still, i'm wondering if might able tell if it's possible fix.
so, why component cut off that, , how might able remedy it?

have tried creating template component, has no other columns component can take entire mainbody area. or perhaps used template codes collapse columns if nothing assigned column.
