we have document of 600 pages (one fm file) , on 1500 footnotes. when try insert new footnote takes me 3 or 4 seconds. can type footnote text. when there less 1000 footnotes creating new footnote took less 1 second.
when create new fm file in book , insert footnote there, it's quick (<1 sec).
and stil have add many footnotes...
is there limit amout of footnotes? , how can solve time problem?

breaking down smaller sections , keep things using
the book file structure.
